It is required that every potential student with an interest to study in Canada must obtain a study permit issued by the Canadian Government. Securing a Space in your preferred Institution

Creating a successful study permit application will start with the first step of applying to your preferred designated learning institution. You will get an offer letter from the selected institution if you have submitted all required documents and you meet the selection criteria. Your offer letter and all other documents as required by the Canadian government are all you need to have a successful study permit application.

Tuition Fees and Proof of Fund

For your study permit application, you are required to show at least one year coverage for your tuition fee and also your living expenss in Canada. This fund could be directly from you, your parent or any relatives, with a clear documentation to show that the fund is available for your study.

It is important to note that as a student studying in Canada, you are allowed to work for 20 hours per week during your study period and work full-time during your holiday. This can help students cover their living expenses while studying.

Ties to your country

Aside proof of funds, you must also be able to convince the visa officer that you have a great tie to your home country since a study permit is temporary in nature. The family tie is a proof that you will return to your home country after the completion of your study in Canada. To prove your family ties to your country of origin, you will have to include your parents, siblings, spouse and children if available. Since you have great family ties, which is enough reason to show that you will return after your study. In addition, personal assets either independently owned or co-owned with your relatives or parents is an added advantage.
